The Raspberry Pi Foundation finally released their $35 USD, credit card sized computer board last week, Wednesday, February 29th(the Brits' do have a sense of humor). Although I didn't successfully obtain one on the first day of its availability, it still was fun to participate in the general release excitement and mayhem. Now that the initial mayhem is over, and the servers for Farnell/Element-14 and RS Components are no longer overwhelmed, one can pre-order one of the foundation's Raspberry Pi (RPi) computers. I'm looking forward to receiving my first one in April 2012.
